I am watching the separation of President Donald J. Trump and D.O.G.E. rock-star Elon Musk with detached interest.
I doubt that very many of my readers expected the honeymoon to last very long. Both men have enormous egos. A break-up was a foregone conclusion.
Both men are also very results oriented. Both men are likely to see that they either rise together or sink together. Frankly, Musk has more to lose because his empire is a house-of-cards that is precariously held together by the myth that everything he touches turns to gold. Loss of the generous, tax-payer funded subsidies would pop that myth.
From a more narrow perspective, as a supporter of DJT, I can overlook this slap-fight between divas if DJT continues to deliver results across a broad spectrum of the agenda that I voted for.
Okay, I have kept my mouth shut primarily because I didn't want to jinx it.
ReplyDelete(It's uncanny how often something I say in some twisted way comes true.)
My interest is quite detached. But I'm seeing the Trump/Musk affair pop up all over the net. Don't you people have lives?
So here goes. It's a ruse. The climate is ripe for this kind of hooliganism. It's been Trump this, Elon that. Very much of it criticism.
Trump has a way of flushing out his detractors. Musk just shoulders ahead and proves his critics wrong. Both men have more in common than whatever differences.
Personally and professionally, both have been ready to rumble for a long time. They are bringing their styles to the street in previously unseen and heard of ways.
To what purpose, you might ask. Don't you see it?
Their purpose is to have every loudmouth critic, every sabatoeur in fedgov to betray themselves. They, Trump and Musk, have put out such a delicious bait that the usual buffoons cannot help themselves.
They'll spring the trap soon. Whether this week or by early fall who can say? But the timing will be perfect.
“ It's a ruse “
DeleteExactly.
Same as the distraction and diversion needed by bankrupt Western govs to have WWIII.
“Sorry about your pension / 401k / savings account / currency.
It was all well managed and secure as sure as you were born until this darned old war broke out.”
Blame THAT. Not your congress critters who were fiscally irresponsible responsible for your adult lifetime and since the last big war and money reset happened.
Rinse and repeat every few generations on and on and on…
Who runs barter town?

.
Well said gentlemen.
DeleteWe are being played...
A ruse can be a distraction, I suppose. But not all rises are distractions.
DeleteThis ruse is not a distraction.
This is a warhead of pound you in the ass.
As I've already said, the usual buffoons cannot help themselves.
The socialists now clamor to protect and nurture illegal aliens. That's not new, but they've become hyper aggressive about it.
Even to riot about it.
Today we see that Eric Swallowell, he of CCP's Fang Fang pump and dump, now demands release of the Epstein files.
Trump Musk, Consolidated is on target. I won't be surprised when Piglosi demands, and means it, an end to insider trading.
Every internet post and comment plays to ramp up the diabolical enthusiasm. Yes, deviant. For by and large, these sort of people want and hope, nigh demand, that these successful men falter and fail. Both men have built a legacy of helping people. Yet there are those who wish they fall.
ReplyDeleteAll stable people do not suffer fools gladly. Trump and Musk are solidly in positions to do something about it. The penultimate FO to the FA.
Pro wrestling. Fake. Gay. Fomented.
ReplyDeleteSame Same.
Clownworld in spades.
DeleteNo one is coming to save you…
In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies.
ReplyDeleteWinston Churchill
Anyone doubt America is at war with itself?
The bigger the problem, the larger the distractions needed.
I hope you have a deep pantry.
America has been at war with itself since 1964. Of course, 1913 and 1803 can be said, but those didn't involve the people directly as did 1964.
DeleteSomething to read and ponder.

He's been early before but in general pretty much on target.
SNIP Without war, the globalists have nothing. Maybe they can pull off an economic crisis (all the pieces are certainly in place), but in a vacuum they could get the blame. War offers a valuable distraction for the masses and an ever adaptable scapegoat. People broke and starving? Well, that’s just war. The dollar crashing? Currencies are at risk during war. Freedoms being curtailed? Hey, people need to set aside their liberties for the sake of “security”.
There’s a reason why multi-nation wars almost always occur just after historic economic declines. The two crises feed into each other, but the wars also provide cover for extensive centralization schemes. Each successive world war brings us a step closer to world government and a centrally controlled global economic system.
The globalists in Europe are doing everything in their power to prolong the conflagration. They know Ukraine is never going to get their lost territory back. They know that Russia is generating a massive breakout on the front lines in the east. They have no peace plan. Their purpose is to force a direct confrontation between NATO forces and Russian troops. It’s the only explanation for the attacks on Russian nuclear armaments. It’s a provocation designed to end all chances of a ceasefire and take the war to the next level.
I suspect it's that serious between our own nations infighting and the irrational Ukraine situation.
At least if I am incorrect (and I pray I am) then you can always eat those extra boxes of pasta at the current today price as nobody here really thinks that inflation is going away.
When the RUS/UKR put-on wraps up, another simmering spot will flash to open flame. While Gaza/Syria/Iran with a splash of Turkey (except erdogan forced into 'spending more time with his family') is a candidate, I think Africa, especially Congo/Mali will pop off. Proxy war
DeleteEveryone in a position of power, is compromised.
ReplyDeleteRemember how everyone came roaring in like a lion? Then, they end up like Patel and Bongino, they get a "briefing" with graphic video and then come out with that look on your face that says, I don't want to commit suicide (when they, jointly, announced that Epstein DID INDEED, kill himself).
"The long march" through ALL our institutions, is complete, we await the planned, crash. The timing depends on how long the "resistance" holds out against the Chinese, Nazi, Commie, infiltrator, spy Jooos, Satanic, pedo, traitors, from Khazaria.
We might crash next week or not for years. There is no hope for the country, there is hope, locally.
Christ, in my opinion, doesn't give a rats ass about socio-economic-political shenanigans. He's concerned with each of us. For me, that's where the "local" optimism is for me. Of course. I'm imperfect, so I'm hedging my bet with a rifle, some dogs and trying to live properly. Will I make it? Not likely. A lot of us heritage males are heading for some version of "no country for old men".
Fortunately, YMMV.
Spot on:
Delete“A lot of us heritage males are heading for some version of "no country for old men".”
Regards Tree Mike's first paragraph, Patel and Bongino may have learned something that if it got out would cause pandemonium, for instance perhaps the former head of the executive branch and current poobahs in the other branches being involved in legal or moral shenanigans. Such circumstance would be reasonable reason for the 'deer in the headlights' look and the '' 'he did it himself' response.
